It might be just the thing to keep bambi off the tulips

but why not use a spot light area trigger?

I would also add a game trail camera so you could record videos of the assaults

Um, that'd have to be one tall freaking raccoon (or "ratcoon," as the seller says) to trip that breakbeam. Even then, it still only shoots in one direction. Now if it swiveled and tracked motion, it would be cool.

Still, I hope no one actually tries to set this thing up for "home defense." That's just an accident waiting to happen.

That thing has just as much potential for shooting out an unsuspecting teammate as a flanking enemy.

Does anyone even know of a field that would allow that?

Scenario games, maybe. And it would be assumed that you'd tell your teammates about it before they stumbled into it. Still, it's an automated paintball turret, and I'd be worried that it wouldn't know when not to shoot (or when to stop shooting).

Well given that the intention would be to keep the raccoon out of the trash can, it's probably the perfect height.

Is that a Quantum loader on it? The noise from that should keep the varmints away.
