Thunderwear Gloves

These used to be my favorite gloves. Neoprene outer w/ a woodland type camo pattern. A velcro closure strap, etc.

I had thought Thunderwear had gotten out of the paintball glove business, then I came across this eBay auction! I can only find one side of my current pair so I just bought a new set.

Picture from the auction:

"Buy It Now" for under $10. I think I used to get them for around $20 so considering these are a new set, I feel like I got a good deal.

I shoulda thought about trolling eBay sooner. My bad...

They used to be pretty popular. I'd estimate for the fashionable p-baller it was either the Thunderware neoprene gloves or the green JT gloves with the hard plastic on top to protect your knuckles.

But this is like 10+ years ago LOL, so maybe there was another choice that I can't recall.

Me too. The stitching is still perfect, no fading on the color patterns, the velcro is still working, only slight wear in the palms, etc.

I've been looking for these for a long time. Thanks for posting. I just bought me a pair before I left to work.

Just got my gloves...

Pros: New item. Stitching, color seperation, velcro, etc. all seemingly in a perfectly unused state. Plus they also sent the correct size I requested.

The gloves were ordered (paid immediately w/ Paypal) on a Friday night & shipped on Monday. That's IMHO is just about as quickly as I could realistically could expect. I figure nobody works on the weekends, etc.

Cons: Items doesn't quite look like the sample photo. The gloves I received were much lighter in color. No dark green, nor dark brown. So the gloves don't quite match the woodland camo look of previous Thunderware products. Not sure if it's just the one I got, or if their entire run of gloves are the same.

Auction says "brand new - sealed in package" and the gloves didn't come in the old plastic packaging as previous gloves used to. In fact not packaging at all. just slipped inside a "bubble mailer" envelope. So if I was planning on giving them as a gift, etc. I might have been slightly disappointed.

Overall, considering it was only $10, I don't consider it a bad auction. I gave the seller + feedback. For my situation the positives out weighed the negatives & I'm even seriously thinking about ordering another pair or two & just squirreling them away in case I need another pair once again.
