Drop Forward Bracket. (Advice please)

I was thinking of adding a "drop forward" bracket to the bottom of my Carter Comp & running a small 3.5oz bottle for pump games.

What do you folks think? I'm looking for some style advise. Is this "ugly" or "not too ugly"?

Here's the link to the eBay auction:

I'm not really into: chrome, ano fades, flames, etc. Basically I'm not a *BLING!* kinda guy.

BTW: Here's a pciture of the gun I'd be running it on.

I was also deciding between either using a "dummy 12gram" and keeping the pump changer (that way I could always carry an emergency powerlet, just in case...), or installing an adaptor.

That’s an old carter, are you sure that it has the standard spacing on the bottom? If I recall correctly the old ones had nelson spacing (a noticeable bit wider then the common hole spacing of today)

My vote goes to "that would be ugly, leave it alone"

That's a good question. I was gonna send a message to the seller if I got more serious about the purchase. Center-to-center of the screw holes on the receiver I'd be using is 1.25".

I'm a pretty big fan of the small PPS drops. They're very simple (and black) and comfortable.

PPS doesnt make drops. Maybe the taso ones they sell?

I like NW paintball drops. It all depends on how much you need something to go down..and forward.

Also as far as readily available and very good..lapco drop forwards are where its at.

They dont move the tank much forward..and they move it down just enough to clear the fatness of a HPA tank or a co2 tank so you can actually be comfortable when gripping your gun. Lapco drops are also classic looking and kinda match an older gun.

Main thing I look for is that the thing matches. most of the time a simpler squarer drop like an NW paintball, or lapco fits the bill.

Benchmark products have always been good to me..I cant tell if that drop is grey or black though, great price.

^ Yeah, except the s/h to my locale is the same as the aution price. For some reason that really gets my goat, since I know the UPS Ground & Priority Mail costs are actually much lower.

Maybe I can ask him if he accepts a Call Tag in lieu of s/h chargers.

So you guys think it would look OK on my gun provided the holes match up?

I'd just go with an angled BL.. if you end up needing the bigger spacing and would rather go with a duckbill I have one I could probably pull off a gun provided we can find me another.
