Meh, I figure that my guns will scratch the table top before it scratches my guns... and I made that damn counter. It was cheap. Im not worried.

However, that would be a nice thing to have... for me to poop on!!!

the problem is that its too small. 19x12? pfft. how about 24x36?

That's actually not too overpriced - mats for gunsmithing are just a little less - Brownells sells a 12x24" mat for $12.

They also sell a 18" x 48" mat $23, of course, it doesn't have that ultracool logo, which makes all the difference...

I would like a nice work mat in a light color(black hides screws). I don't use a workbench very often, I usually just spread my stuff out on the floor and watch TV.
