I paid like 250, which judging by the forums is the going rate for a Nel-Spot in this good a condition, fully stock--which is what I really wanted. On a mission to come to better know our sport by playing with legacy markers. Starting with the stock Nel-Spot 007. So tell me, did I get ripped for $250?

Get ready for the sharks to swirl! This price isn't high yet. I just can't afford it. ![]() Sheridan KP3 shotgun series 3 pump paintball marker gun - eBay (item 170371218120 end time Aug-23-09 21:00:00 PDT) edit. You might not like the comment but paying $100 or more extra for a gun might lend credence to it.

No, I mean that the claim was that I paid like $400 for a Nel-Spot. And I paid $250. And the jokes are running about that. And I think the only Nel-Spot I would pay that much for would be a single or double digit serial number. For that matter, where is the serial number on the 007? It's not where I expected to see it. |

I don't think they have serial numbers just "birth dates" on the gripframe under the panel

How can I get to it? I mean, without damaging it. I'm really curious, because I want to know how close to the origin of paintball it was. And I just checked: the claim was that someone bought it for $600....that's the price of a cheap AR15, or a decent electropneumatic....alright, enough with that. The internet is for information; the paintball field is for proving something. |

IIRC the left panel pops off from the bottom so you can insert the CO2 and the right panel takes a small flat head screw in the center of the panel. As Green Mtn has noted. I don't believe there was a serial number on them and I don't even recall the date stamp.
