Technically, it is possible. It'd be extermely expensive because of the cost of the pure nickel bar you'd have to find (which isn't easy) plus the machining costs. I work with a few nickel based alloys at work and it's tough stuff!
Me, personally, plan on making a pair of Cocker bodies out of solid brass and stainless steel some day. Why? Why not!

Turbografx 16 Addict
Alternate PPS body material of my dreams = Silicon Bronze w/ Titanium Nitride plating done in a "splash" pattern.
Put that on a spring-fed PMI-1 type pumper and I'd never whore again.

First off, I'm a little hard-pressed to believe that PPS would actually sell someone a single-triggered 'Phoon with the trigger guard hacked off. Second off, if he really paid $15 for an elbow, I'm surprised he had the sense to buy a Typhoon or any other Palmer's marker.

For some odd reason a quote from Eurotrip popped into my head when I read this.
" look, a nickel (slap!) I quit!

That palmer cocker is on ebay again. Auction # 170067686224 I just love it when people cut and past a picture out of the catalog and use it in the auction.
In the phoon auction. Did you notice that he does not describe the actual marker he has but tries to sell us on a phoon in general. Like someone who finds this would not know what it is any way. this may be a real auction but it is way to high in my opinion. He also just doesn't know what he has. Or really knows what he is talking about.
I am not going to say for sure these auctions are a scam but they sure look fishy. We see this in other hobbies also.

Here's one with the guard hacked off, although they did install a double trigger...
