What's with the frame? When it comes off, is it a clean detachment, or are there still wires hanging? The noid has to get power somehow, and then there are the eyes.

At 1:06 in the video you can see the wiring hanging down from the body that will reach down into the frame.

Prestige looks gorgeous IMO. I'd love that color scheme on an SL66.

Ive always wanted an Ego I couldnt change regs on...

Otherwise, its almost what a normal Ego should be for its price.

Eh, in all honesty, compared to other high-ends on the market, you do get quite a bit for your money with an Ego. Now, that said, I don't think anything this has justifies an almost $1900 price tag, but people will buy them. Just when I thought they were going the right direction with the Swamp SLS and Combat Ego/Geo's, they do a complete 180 with the CSL...

As for the regulator, I believe they've been like that since the 2010 models came out. In all honesty, it makes reg maintenance a good bit faster since the piston is accessible the moment you unscrew the reg from the gun. And frankly, you really don't need to upgrade the reg at all so I don't know why that would be such a big deal. Not being a fanboy here but the PE regs are probably better than 99% of aftermarket regs anyway.

Ive always hated egos, even the ones Ive owned in the past and all the others ive shot. I really wanted to try a ego 11 but couldnt justify the 1250 and then tryin to resell it for 950, so i bought the CSL knowing that I could sell it for what I payed or close to it without a problem. Got mine today, wont be able to actually play with it till the end of the month. However I must say I finally am impressed with an ego, the feel still isnt the greatest, but its alot better then previous models, the milling is absolutely beautiful and all the little goodies included are nice. I really like the E-portal, making your own boot screens is fun. Only spot I could of seen some improvement on is perhaps the trigger design, i would of rathered a simplified trigger that was easy to take apart and just pull out from the spacing in the frame like the G6r, instead of having to take the frame off, then when you want to change the trigger you then have to take off the pin carrier which imo is outright to much work for simply a trigger swap.

Slightly disappointed that one of the grip screws came in fairly rough shape. Like the person assembling it was using a worn down allen as the screw has parts where the corner are starting to round out on it. Luckily they include replacement screws so if it gets to a point to where its completely rounded out that It needs replaced I'll atleast have some.

for an $1800 paintball gun, ANYTHING less than PERFECT is unacceptable, and PE would be hearing about it from me in a hurry. A nick in a screw, crimp in a wire anything.. Ive heard of the barrels carbon fiber looking just OK..
