So I just played the big game at BR paintball this Sat. with my EGO 7. Worked fine. I boxed it up. Now I just gassed it up and it won't shoot. The solenoid is making a high pitched whining noise, and when i put it into training mode it makes a hissy pop noise instead of the usual noise.... If anyone can give me some advice on the issue it would be lovely. Thanks. I'm praying it isn't a bad solenoid though I fear it is.

Check your battery, if thats not it then check the QEV's, if not that... then your noid may be dead.

The battery gauge on the LCD screen shows 2/3 bars. I'll check in a few. As for the qevs....there are none. The person I bought the ego from replaced the qev with a banjo.

yeah I fixed the issue. The gun works like usual, but one thing bugs me. I don't know if it's normal operation, but if you hold your ear up to the solenoid when the gun is on. There is a high pitched whine coming from it. Any clue why?

| Closed bolt FTW |
check your LPR make sure the seal and piston are ok...iirc 7's can have the lpr fail and over pressurize the noid killing it

Yeah I've checked them. They are fine. The whine is more electrical sounding than a leak.

take the frame off and gas the gun up. Get a better indication of where the whine is comming from

There are 3 small o- rings between the noid and the manifold you don't think its one of them? Or the tubing? Did you put at the grip screws in?..mine leaked whenever the front screws were in or any top screw overtigtened? Just a couple guesses |
