E1 E2 updates

So this is kind of a shot in the dark but i was hoping someone on here would know the answers. To start out with let me start out with what my goal is.
So i love auto cockers to me they are the best gun. I have multiple guns with E2 and E1 boards. I would like to update the programing on both styles of handles, but not to the last firmware that was released i would like to actually write an updated version of the programming i have a BS in computer engineering and i am going back for my master

I would like to know if anyone knows if there was ever a usb adapter for the boards or if there is one out there Like the ones used to do xmods ?

I would also like to know if anyone knows what complier the programming was written in?

Lastly specs any and all specs on the board?

If i can find out all this stuff i will write new sw for the boards ?

If there is a version of the code used to create the firmware out there.

Hopefully an old Planet eclipse guy that will know all this stuff

Just an update so eclipse has stated that they cannot provide me with any of this type of info due to its propietary, but in good news i have pulled the hex code off one of my E2 boards so i should be able to run that back into C and then create an updated software for the e handles and it shouldnt take me too long. Also i can now flash E2 boards to the 1.10 software should be able to offer this service in a little bit

also if anyone wants to wire it just look at page 2 it has the pin out,
http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/e...Doc/30292c.pdf
Also the pic kit 3 is just 59 bucks on ebay and you can work with any pic.
Do not get a off brand one its more of a pain then its worth
but pin going from left to right on the back of the board pin 1 is vss ground pin 2 is mclr Vpp
3 is pgc 4 is pgd last is vdd target so if anyone wants to get the hardware and wire it they can.
To make mplab see the board and pull the asm or hex code you will have to hold the power button and then in debug mode read the memory on the device
