Etek 3 vs ego 08

thinking about getting my 1st space gun up from my Phenom. what would you get for a ~$170.00 difference the etek 3 or an ego 08 and why?

It's an actual PE gun. It's like the Etek line, but for the Geo.

To answer your question, I'd go with the Geo 8.

what are the difference other than the lcd what makes an 08 ego worth ~170.00-300.00 more?
from what I've seen an etek 3 is mostly ego 8 internals.

also why would you someone suggest the etha over either? or is it just that it's going to be the latest PE gun, and be around 395.00 new.

The Ego line and the ETEK line use completely different solenoids. The Ego 8's are made better. I'm not saying the ETEKs are bad. I have an ETEk and love it. But, the Ego is definitely nicer. As a side note, several people consider the 08 to be one of the best Egos ever, at least until the 11's came along.
