The e1 has a red digital display, has fewer settings, and isn't mq/mq2 compatible. I think that is it but could be more

There is an.option to keep eyes turned off, but am unsure if it sticks or has to be done each time. I've only used the e2/zerob but have no reason to think the e1 would reset itself

Ok...so is the zero b board just the same as the e2 or does it offer something else?

For the most part they are the same. I believe the zerob had a slightly smaller screen though. There are differences in the e2/zerob firmware versions. The. 24 board only has classic and semi modes, but all versions later than that should have cramping, training, etc.

If that is what you wanted. Your choices would be an e1/e2/zerob. The e1 you can pick up for no more than $30. The e2/zerob are running around $80 now.
