Geo/Etha Reg Tester? Input wanted!

Hey guys

I've picked up a few egos recently
Some of my young guns are pickin up old beat up semi's for next season

Doin all the semi related research I found that the Geo/etha use the proprietary threaded regs

Would a reg tester be a viable product?
What price range would you want for an adapter for a reg tester?

Top would be a 1/2-npt (tank threads)
Middle would have a nice big wrench flat
Bottom would be a PE threaded adapter
Through hole down the middle

Material 6061 Aluminum
Overall Dimensions Less than 2" Long, 1" Diameter
Probably get em anno'd (depending on quantity/cost)

Im thinking $15-$20 without anno? More with ano?

Thoughts?
Input?
I could probably have one made up after thanksgiving....
maybe whip up 1 this week

Could this be an adapter to use a Sl3 reg on a normal marker? or just a pressure tester for PE proprietary threaded regs?

well i was gonna build em to have a big beefy wrench flat for disassembly

i could easily get rid of the wrench flats, make it lower profile and prettier for an adapter

This is just me, but is it really necessary for any PE owner to have one, especially with a PE marker they have such little issues and when they do they're customer service is so amazing they would probably fix it no cost.

I would not buy one. but thats just me...there is no LPR on geo's so they shouldn't really have an issue with over pressurizing the solenoid you just use the HPR to chrono it. and once thats set you will rarely have to mess with it.

this is coming from a Geo2 owner (myself)

My input, I'd rather have an ego LPR tester than anything else. With the geo/etha its set to velocity and youre done. The ego LPR tester would be sweet as they dont sell them anymore

or you could just buy a violent series SL3 regulator, comes with removable adapter to that fits the proprietary threads-to-ASA threads

one could then keep their usual reg tester and then use the adapter

ofcourse one would then have an extra reg too
