Hi guys, I've been looking around for a used/new ego solenoid on the internet but they're are hard to find and very expensive. I was wondering if anyone tried to put something else in there. I first thought a Timmy noid could work, anybody tried to fit one? Thanks for your help! |

I haven't tried to mount a Timmy noid but it even looks like it won't fit simply because of the way the hosing is in the noid. Something I've heard of people doing is using an Etek 1/2 noid and manifold to replace the 05/06 noids.

The timmy noid uses screw in barbs, not a manifold body mount like the ego.

Maybe you can plug the hoses directly into the QEVs without having a manifold. | |

If you still are in need, try an EGO7/8 solenoid/manifold combo. Works fine. Just raise your dwell to 13.
