| www.yankeepaintball.com | Slight ego problem I was futzing around with some old paint in my ego and it blew up a ball. No big deal I thought until I tried to get the eye cover screws off. They wouldn't budge, I mean to the point I was worried they were going to strip out. So anybody know a good trick? My normal non-electro style would be to hammer in a torx head socket and take it out but with electronics I'm hesitant, so if you have any ideas post up please. Tug

| Odd that they would be in so tight unless the previous owner loctited them in....There really isn't a whole lot to worry about in an electro that you wouldn't worry about in a mech. I doubt you could harm the eyes themselves with the vibration of tapping in a torx bit. If you're really worried you could pull the board or take of the grip frame before you start working on it. I guess the solenoid may be a source of concern as well if you're really pounding it but those are also pretty easy to remove. I guess if it was me I'd strip it down to bare minimums and work on the cover screws from there.

| A little oil or grease on the screw where it contacts the aluminum will keep it from sticking the next time. Dissimilar metals can cause a slight bit of corrosion to form rather quickly...
