actually that gun has "freaks" engraved into both sides of it. he killed the collector value of by doing that...

Yeah, you can faintly see it just to the aft of the breech in the picture that is already up there.

Wonder how tough it would be to polish that out, but then you'd have to re-ano everything...

Price is too steep for all that effort.

It will cost a lot I have already checked in to long before he posted it on ebay. The anno alone is gonna be over 200. But you have to find an anno comany that is willing to deal with the tubes in the DAC's on the gun. Having to deal with that added around another 100+ for the anno. Then you have to get the engraving out still its almost 600 plus just to fix it. After the sale and the fix you might be looking at close 1500-2000 area. The gun will never resell for that. as that is the most common Aardvark gun out there. PLUS its missing a hand full of stock parts that will be a pain in the a** to find...

In other words I was gonna buy it before it went on ebay, but said F-that because of what all would need to be done to fix it.

Sucks that the seller didn't disclose that nasty flaw in an expensive and rare gun in the text of his auction.

Seems like a shady thing to do. Almost hoping that someone will buy it not noticing the scratched in name.

Don't know the seller, but honestly... Just seeing that I wouldn't buy.

He did say it on pbn when he showed off his collection a week or two ago.
No one there were interested at his pricepoint so he put it up on ebay under the impression that it would surely sell there.

The funny thing is he is about 1.5-2 hours north of me & Im pretty sure what field he plays at, that is if he still plays.
