Honestly, I don't see a huge issue with it. The body isn't anything special, just an old E-Mag body. Everything else is left intact. Now, if they had done that with a Dallara or something, then that would necessitate a lynching.

still, the x valve and frame are just begging to shoot laser beams. Just use an old kingman hammer or tracer for Pete's sake.
