Sweet oldschool Palmer goodness.
PD9 arrived saturday, little dirty, but shows great promise to be restored and fitted with a proper 'handle'
This wasn't one for the ready to go crowd, she stil has old knurled bolts, is a handbuild Dan DeBone or GP marker with a reversed ram tube (on right side of gun), the Glenn Palmer 'bend' on the Ram shaft coupler arm, the old anno'ed internals coupled to the version one brass internals, but with PPS updates of flat rings, new seals.
The marker has ball detentes which suprised me, but they sure aren't new, and the holes are nickeled.
I estimate this was made in 1990-1991.
Serial is on left side of the lower tube, and the sight rail is a bit shorter than usual.
Interesting maker and I am sure it will make a fine hurricane.
