| Post Whore Join Date: Feb 2009 | Assassinate Generals - You haven't seen a gun like this before
I built this to assassinate generals in scenario games. Works so well I can't use it in my area any more ![]() On to the pics of the Briefcase Assassin.... ![]() An unassuming briefcase. I have labeled "Prop" and random things like "RB 1347." The idea is that people don't think "Why is there masking tape on that briefcase?" Instead, they are distracted by it's true purpose.... ![]() A back view ![]() But oh! What's this? Look closer at the thumb. ![]() With your right hand on the case, it is impossible to see the switch, not that anyone would be looking. ![]() The microswitch is so delicate, you barely need to move your thumb. The masking tape flies off (literally), and the general and those around him are hit, unable to even react. ![]() Inside the case - ![]() I chose an Ion, for two reasons. One - cheap and reliable. Two - runs on co2. I wired up the microswitch on the case to the microswitch of the ion. It can disconnect just outside of the grip, so that the ion can be reverted back to a normal marker, allowing you to chrono it discretely. The remote acts as an expansion chamber, and allows the asa to be detached. Braced internally, but nothing permanently, allows easy setup, and you can run with it no problem. The only problem is the hopper feeding. If you have a better solution, let me know, as I can only get about five or six shots before I have to shake the case, then I get another five. ![]() ![]() Price: The 3.5oz tank is used on my phantom, but if you want it, I got to charge another $25 so that I can buy a new one. So, without the tank - $200obo Let me know if you want any more info or pictures. |

that is really neat, question though, do you use these in scenarios that involve cases like that (capture documents etc)? otherwise how does a guy carrying a briefcase not look conspicuous? (not being critical or anything just wondering )

Free bump for a very clever setup. I can imagine how surprised some of your targets were. On a somewhat related note, next time I'm at a scenario and I see someone with a brief case and no marker, I'm gonna one-ball him just to be safe! |

Very cool-James Bond like. ![]() That would probably go with my tuxedo t-shirt I wear in games sometimes.

as for the hopper not feeding well, you can try easing the edges of the feedneck a bit by sanding just a bit. They also don't call em shake and bakes for no reason. You could possibly try to moterize a winchester or the like using revy guts? Nice little set up though
