| Rec Poster Join Date: Apr 2008 | 2003 AKA Excal with Robtown Valve! Sold! Well I hate to let this go but baby #2 is on the way. I have a 2003 Excal with eyes, an Rmodded Pandora board, RobTown valve, snatch grip, JMJ Trigger, CP ASA, SCM, Acid Customs AKA pull pin, Dye stickies, Humph Noids, and no-rise-feed neck. This marker was one of the 3 original fitted with and MQ valve. The board and the valve didn't get along so both were replaced (I still ahve the MQ valve and would be willing to part with it as well) at DC Customs last spring. I have only played with the marker 2 times since recieving it back from DC and it shoots like a dream. I still have the bag and Javelin barrel which will come with the marker. Pics 2003 Excal Right Side - MCB Gallery I am looking for $550 OBO. Last edited by Bradys71; 05-14-2008 at 01:05 PM.. |

| Rec Poster Join Date: Apr 2008 | The MQ valve worked at 1 point but the Pandora board had to have a capacitor wired to it. When I bought the marker it wasn't working so I sent it in to Jared at DC and he ended up reverting it back to stock. He tried putting in his MQ valve as well with no luck. I would be willing to through in the MQ valve as I don't know if it works or not. I believe the excal has humphrey noids will check when I get home. Also I don't want to part the gun (basically I don't want to take the chances of screwing it up by taking it apart). As to trades once again no thanks as I don't play with the guns I have so they need to go (Friggin baby stuff is too expensive). |

I always wondered if that section ended up getting any pressure or not... I might be interested in the MQ if it's one of the blue American ones, not one of the taiwanese POS. |

The gun has been to DC twice (the first time to return it to stock, and the second to add the Robtown valve) and Jared never said there was anything wrong with the marker itself. And the marker works great. Also how do I tell which MQ valve I have? |

If it's all silver aluminum, its taiwanese. I can't see how they could do the MQ without a hole, but I'm sure yours has no issues related to being MQ'd at one time, Jared knows what he is doing. Shoot, it took the builder of the MQ valve to get mine to run right. |

Hmm, it sounds like the MQ valve is more trouble than its worth, I suggest getting rid of it
