Sniper question for owners

Seems like the snipers are quite loud in the vids I've seen. I haven't seen one yet in person. Are they really loud? Anyway to quiet them easily?

I prefer a marker that is quiet, especially when I'm outgunned.

My sniper was fairly loud.

They're moderately loud, but it really depends on what your version of quiet is. no matter how much it breaks in it'll never be as quiet as the awesomeness that we call the axe, but I suggest just playing around withit and dry firing the heck out of it before you play. That's what i did and it's pretty quiet, compareable to a phantom. Maybe I have different noise opinions because I haven't used many guns but it's still pretty quiet once it breaks in.

I like mine it's got a good sound to it. But when you don't hold the pump handle it's REALLY quiet on mine

My teammate shoots one and it is quite, but playing in the woods mostly the only thing to compare to is tippmanns. It is quieter than my mech cocker though. The barrel is real nice too, for a stock barrel it shoots just as good as my pipe kit

Well you just need to let it break in a bit. And the sniper takes a while to break in...i reccomend LOTS of dry firing before you air it up.

I have a 12 inch deadlywind barrel on it and it's not bad at all. The barrel kit is awesome though.
