Give it a couple months, and the Hammer 7 will have a new breech that is 'cocker threaded.

But you will need to sand the pump handle down, because no cocker threaded barrels will fit if you don't.

Is there really a need to replace the stock Hammer7 barrel? It's just the right size for FS rounds and can take all sorts of tips.

if you prefer the cocker threading, it would be cheaper to buy the Hammer and rethread the breech sleeve to cocker threading. I can't remember the persons name on MCB but he said he could do it. seems like less work to me.

Hey if the stock barrel will work just as good as another then I'm staying stock.

the stock barrel is good seems to be fine for FS, if you need it for paintballs then you may end up needing freak inserts. Paint now a days is all over the place. I thought about rethreading my breach to use a freak barrel but then decided to get the stock barrel freaked. solves my issues and is the cheapest route i can think of.

I'm thinking this marker will serve as first strike only for me, but the freak boring the stock barrel is a good idea.

the stock barrel looks great, but I saw a marked improvement changing to a custom barrel. With the detents in the breach there is no real need for freak sleeves and i dislike shooting a ball into a sleeve.

what a idiot, thanks for catching that. I don't know why but I was treating the setup like a regular gun. I guess I would need different sized breechs.

well i owe you one. thanks.

now i need to unpack my barrel. I almost shipped it out.
