"Kee sucks because they won't bring back a gun that me and my 5 friends want!"

Kee is a BUSINESS. Businesses exist to make money, why would they spend resources on R&D and manufacturing costs for a tiny market of old gun obsessives?

It really all comes down to air flow. Once you can wrap your head around air flow and a few moving pieces, it helps significantly to be able to troubleshoot anything.

I have cockers and mags. I also have a blazer and a phoon. I love fully pneumatic guns...but my mag easily outshoots them all (it's a pneumag) and is probably my current favorite. Although I have recently decided to build a new e-cocker...

My recommendation is this: get whatever you want to tinker with and plan on it being broken for a good amount of time while you learn the ins and outs. Once you get it sorted out it'll be a real sense of accomplishment, and you'll be surprised at how much the tech side of it starts really just naturally coming together for you.
This is a great post. Just saying.

You can always get a spyder for cheap. Older Spyders are a blast to tinker with, cheap and the parts are cheap too!

How else are you supposed to know when it's out of oil?

This was getting to the point of of my original post. KEE is a business, and I was wondering if there is a market for a new cocker. Lets look at costs for a second. The R&D on cockers is well established, and it's not rocket science anymore(if it vver was). I'd also like to address the point of manufacturing costs. KEE already makes the Sniper, all that is really needed is the front block, and some minor tweaks. It wouldn't cost much to turn a sniper into a cocker.

I can't see where the cost of getting a new cocker to the market wold be that great for them. The real question is: Is there a market for it? The pump market is a much smaller niche than the semi, or electro market. I can't remember the last time I seen a pump on the field. I know they are out there, but its a fraction of the guns used. Thats why I posted the original question. I know I'd prefer a factory gun compared to a do it yourself frankengun....and I believe there are many people who feel the same, if the price point is right.

Look, The market for a new cocker is smalllll smalll smallll.... and it's most us older enthusiast. Look at the SFL! It has been several years since their last run and they have a list going for that.

Truthfully the only cocker I would want to see come back is the slider Evo-X. Bring that back and I would be happy to pay retail for one.
