Trracer slam fire fails

When i slam fire i get ridiculous shoot down, which im guessing is from the hammer being released to early. Before i start tinkering i was wondering if anyone has the same issue?
Cheers

Slam fire? Do you mean autotrigger?

Yeah, I noticed as well. Normally shoots 280ish, when I autotrigger it goes down to 230, very consistently.

That, I could not explain.

Your guess seems good, the hammer is too worn to latch when ATing.

Have you invested in a stainless steel one? I hear they are much better.

The screw behind the trigger is NOT a trigger back stop but actually the auto trigger activation point adjustment. It does say so in the manual too.

Adjust it out until the velocity when you auto trigger is the same as when you pull the trigger normally.

Well I'll be.... every nelson based pump I've ever used had low A/T velocity of varying degrees. I assumed it was a universal issue! Awesome to know the new Trracer fixes this!
