empire sniper return spring

anybody here ever put a ccm return spring on a empire sniper ? or got one and cut it down to the right size to make it fit ? how was the pump stroke compared to the stock return spring ? never used a ccm but have heard great things about the pump stroke. took out my return spring at the moment but dont like that it can double or even triple feed and i dont care to keep my finger on the trigger constantly to hold the bolt forward lol please help !!!!!

Tried it on mine back when i owned a sniper, made zero difference. Springs wont really help with smoothness, just effort required to pump. That is! Unless the spring's really wack.

If you want a smoother stroke, take off the front bolt oring

Does taking out the detents make a huge difference?

Did the Tech-T bolt make a solid difference? Was thinking about throwing one in my sniper along with a Modded CCM EZ grip handle... The pump handle on the sniper is so uncomfortable to me. I have a fully CCM'd ANS X-5 with the 45* slim frame and AT assembly... Shoots buttery smooth in all the right ways. Dead on consistancy as well.

While the techT bolt makes no difference on the T2, it makes a good, noticeable difference on my sniper. My shots were quieter and my overall pump stroke was smoother. My shots were a bit more consistent too.

Was tinkering with my Sniper the other day. Noticed that the front plate that holds the pump handle on binds if those screws are too tight. Loosened up those screws a little bit and left maybe a 1mm gap in between the handle and the plate. Made a HUGE difference on the pump stroke and return.

Agreed, in that same vein make sure that the rod with your autotrigger is straight as possible, or you'll get binding there too.

EDIT:

By that i mean make sure that the nub which hooks into the AT needs to be perpindicular to the body
