Empire Sniper auto trigger problem

Every time I try to use my auto trigger on my pump, my pump rod turns down and it disengages the autotrigger arm. To be able to play I have to remove my autotrigger arm and the autotrigger cam. I love the autotrigger function. Even when I screw in the pump rod into the pump slide the rod turns ans the autotrigger disengages. I don't want to over tighten the rod since the pump slide is made out of plastic. Any suggestions of how to fix this? Lock tight can not be used since you can't bond plastic to metal.

Any help would be welcome!

^ this. Or use Loctite 425, it is made for metal to plastic. Its pretty much a weak superglue, so you can remove if needed.
