I also did a video of mine to show it holding air and firing.

Hawaiinized Mini

EDIT: And before anyone asks about the 13/3000. I use one for the same reason I use a stickfeed/home made cram and jam on my Mini, playing against pump guns with massive firepower is just less fun.

Please tell me how you did that. I really want to do the same thing and would love to just have a custom bracket made for the reg instead of modifying the existing dovetail.

That has been my one wish since I got my Mini. Good Job!

Actually the surgery is quite simple. Unfortunately I can't get you pics until Friday of exactly what I did but I can describe it as best as I can.

If you pull the dovetail off you can see the two sides. Since I wanted to be able to switch the reg back and forth I decided to modify the square end of the bracket.

I took a pair of snips and removed the metal from the back right up to the back stud that goes into the grip frame to hold the reg on. This is how much I needed to remove from my dovetail to get the hole in the dovetail and the hole in the reg to line up, yours may need more or less trimming I don't know for sure.

I then took a Dremel and rounded off the edges and mimicked as best as I could the curvature of the other side. (If you have ever put the reg on backwards without modifying it you know what I am talking about.)

That is all there is too it. Played with it today and it was hella awesome! I even almost eliminated CJOttawa a few times and that is hard to do! If you still don't fully follow PM me and I'll try and get some pictures to you before Friday.

Kewl, Thanks man. That is kinda what I figured, I had played around with it myself and thought that would work I just didn't want to mess it all up structurally (less for the reg to grip). I guess it still gets both posts though and it would just take time to do right. The curve would be the biggest pain since if you mess up the curve the reg is going to put a lot of stress on the air chamber nozzle that sits in it.

I have the Axe On/Off Reg on mine so I have a spare post to mess around wth; I will give it a go this weekend.

Cheers,

As an aside; I also love the 13/3000 on the Mini, I only own 13's and have never needed more air than they hold. I switch between the Stick Feed from Pinnacle Paintball and my Dye'd Winchester. Love the light and tight; now to get it Hawaiian'ed.

Hawaiian Mini

Alright, I want to thank Keys_JR for showing me that it could actually be done. I haven't cleaned the marker yet since I was so intent on doing the mod. Please ignore the grime. Anyways here is my Mini as it runs now:

My fingers are too long so I made these fat grips so the gun would be more comfortable to hold. Book-matched Black Walnut. Left handed too...
