Gen2 of Mini's

hey,

I tried finding this info but could not.

Is there a way to see if a mini is the ''second batch'' of them made.
Because I think the 1e batch had a couple of problems or so.

I just want to make sure its the newer one

Thanks allot

The easiest way is to check the maximum gauge pressure. The older ones were 600 PSI. I forget what the newer ones are, but it is lower. They didn't come out in "batches", but most of the parts were updated around the same time. For the most part, if you have the newer version gauge, you have the "v2".

wow, cool thanks allot.

I guess there is no V2 Mini.. just newer version of different components.
I wonder if the older ones really had big problems with them.

I just wonder if I should stay away from buying an older version one.. or the first ones that came out?

Some early ones are buggy. Mine is serial number 17xx, with all early parts and no problems. Very few of the older ones have problems, 99% of which can be fixed with the $8 spring poppet.
