The reason that I didn't use the game list at SCP was because I had to read through five different catagories. Now here we have eight. I have to figure out if an event is considered local or bigger. What was wrong with the old catagory?

You only have 2 right now, Scenario and Regional: Central, unless you play games in Canada. You will have 1 more when the Tourney section is open.
It's easier this way because the rec games and pump play will be in the Regional Section, Scenarios and Big Games have their own and Tourneys will also have their own. I think it's easier to figure out what games you might be interested in.

The difference is that I travel all over the United States as well as Canada and I also want to go to other countries. Case in point, I'll be driving five hours for a pump game in Pittsburg this weekend. I suppose most people don't travel as much as I do but I thought it was an upward trend.
If it's better for the masses then so be it. I just didn't see the point.

I think you're probably in the minority for how much you travel for the smaller games, but I'm not the one who set up this section split. Personally, I think it's pretty cool that the scenario and big games have their own section and I believe that it was a pretty popular idea before it was put in place. Carter mentioned that he is setting up a tourney section and that the smaller games would fit in the regional sections. Maybe there could be a better idea for the regional section, I just don't know what it could be. There also isn't anything to say that a game can't be double posted in both the Regional and Scenario sections (PPV is posted in both).
