I have a cocker valve tool and have taken apart a few snipers in my time. You need any help let me know! I even fixed Bob t Guys series 5 drunk out of my tree at pump pandemonium!

Thanks.. I'll probably have to borrow your valve tool for some maintenance in the spring until I get my own.

Just a few noob questions: How often should I lube up the valve (also the more inaccessible internals like the hammer)?... and what should I lube it with... Is just regular marker oil okay or should I use something like Dow33 or 55?

you can just drop 2-3 drops of oil in the ASA every case or so... that easy. At the beginning of the season we can tear her down and clean her...I do that once a year (I just did my series 6...polished her hammer, and oiled her nice)

Some regs are greased (your Dow or whatnot) I actually degreased my CCM reg and just keep her lubed with oil.

Putting oil on the hammer is as easy as lubing up for some alone time when the parents are out. Just pull back the back block, back out the IVG and POOF! There is your hammer!
