Jerseys and What to Put on Them

NEW DISCUSSION THREAD HERE:
http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/f...-multicam.html

__________________________________________________ _______________________________

The discussion of jersey's and what to put on them came up in the scenario thread: Scenarios?

To keep that thread from getting too cluttered, I thought we could continue that discussion over here.

Summary of logo suggestions:

So, we got our team name from CJ's avatar (which I believe we are also getting patches made of):

Stilgar suggested something like this:

and that's as far as we got in terms of logo.

For actual jerseys CJ suggested getting something printed by Animal Paintball, or going with DYE mod tops:

To keep things on the cheaper side of things, I suggested picking up blank jerseys and getting a local screen printer to put an image on them for us.

Stilgar kicked things off by suggesting jerseys or white shirts and black ties.

I think that pretty much sums things up.

I really like the sugar skull idea Stilgar came up with. After playing with photoshop and some images pilfered from the interwebs, I came up with this idea:

Now Discuss!

I'm not on the team, but the skull looks cool and this is what I thought of when I saw it so I figured I could share: put the sugar skull on the Sons of Anarchy symbol and get it put on the backs of your jerseys with a top and bottom rocker. The top rocker would always say "Featuring Death" and the bottom rocker would change based on where the team member lived.

Here is the website's list of their different patterns. There are quite a few to choose from (and the "Camo Distraction" which I'm personally a fan of).

Try this place:

Custom Sports Gear Inc.

This guy has been around a long time in the sport. Made Jersey for well know paintball companies. Look at the pre made shirts that he has. This guy made my Skull jersey for me. When other companies quoted me price of $200 he laughed at them. This guy is a real pro.

He will be the only person that will be used to make the Team Blackrain Breast Cancer walk Team Jersey.

Read my reviews. it's in here somewhere:

Equipment, gun reviews and write ups.

Later,

The rest of the jersey: no major graphic elements to distract from logo or identifiers.
I'd suggest a sort of urban splatter - kind of a faded, de-saturated post-apocalyptic city scape, for lack of an actual example.

Guys: I do this for a living. Give the time to come up with some designs.
We're just bouncing ideas around, I don't think any of us have come up with anything that we're saying is our new logo. Just trying to get the creative juices flowing so to speak.

I like your idea for an urban splatter type background.

Not sure I agree with you on the size of the logo. The idea (as I see things) of a logo on a paintball jersey is so that everyone knows what team you're on. Something the size of a business card wouldn't show up on a sleeve very well. Not saying we have to have a huge brightly coloured logo that takes up the entire jersey, but something at least a few inches across so it can be seen clearly.

That's a nice looking jersey Blackrain!
Question: what sort of backing does it have?
