Heh, I'm aware.

I was lucky to have a female PSP staff, made me actually look forward to PT even though it was usually hell platoon "45 minute of lunges because your instructors thought it'd be funny" type stuff.

So just another quick update from Base.
We got back from a week in the feild. The -30 day sucked. I've been pretty sick the past few days, trying to get better before next week (between friday and saturday, I've been in bed for about 18 hours thus far). I have a week on base, than 2 weeks in the feild, than I graduate. Not really sure were I'll end up after ward, but from what I've heard, things are pretty backed up, so I may end up waiting for training for awhile, which would suck, but it is what it is. Really looking forward to seeing y'all again. Have a good one

Good job! Keep atter.

EVERYONE gets sick in the Mega at some point...I went deff for two weeks. I was lucky and didn't get Gastro...but Shack hack is inevitable. Keep up your fluid intakes and if you can get some Vitamin B and fisherman's friends...

Field in the cold...No, I don't miss that.

What trade did you go for again? You will likely go to either Gagetown or Borden when you grad. those are the two main training bases for the Army.

For your two weeks in the field. Go into town and get a ton of Protien bars. Keep eating, you will need the calories for energy...especially in the cold. Drink LOTS of water, LOTS more than you think you need.

Bring baby wipes! and keep a small package of them in your inner pocket!

For the first week we were told no extra kit (i.e no personal food or clothing), but for the second week in the feild we will probably be allowed to bring other stuff. We are going to rock our sister platoon in the middle of the night lol
I an a VT like Toad said. My unofficial posting message said Borden is my next stop, but I wont know for sure till grad week.

Thanks for the tips Stilly, they are always appreciated

Bring the food anyway. Just be discreet.

Don't worry about the other platoon, unless your DS says so. It just draws **** on you.

If you don't go to borden...I would be very surprised. Borden is nice, hope you have a car, but DON'T go crazy waiting for your next course. Be smart. keep busy. There will be a lot of bored, lazy, ****pumps hanging out in Borden...

So yet another update from another province. After I graduated BMQ in St. Jean, I was shipped out to Borden. I sat on PAT (Platoon awaiting training) for a month before flying out to New Brunswick for my SQ (Soilder Qualification). I am now 2 weeks in and things are going good. Our staff (for the most part) are awsome. I get nights and weekends off most of the time. Our platoon works hard, I have met some more kool people.
I've partied in Fredricton a few times. I will be getting the long weekend off aswell, plan are to party in Halifax.
I fly back out to Borden on the 14th of April. I have my driver course 2 weeks after I get back, than I'm back on PAT for a month and a bit. I'm planning on coming home for the last 2 weeks in May. I expect to see y'all at least once. Play some 'ball, we'll see how things go up here, but I may have a new secret weapon by the time I go home. We will see.
