Hey Canuck!

I definitely should have googled my problem as I am sure several people have
faced the same thing. Basically I started seeing red and was worried for my
beautiful barrels life so I went a little insane. The barrel is a 12'' 1 piece older
ccm barrel that was bored for freak inserts. I LOVE this barrel. And my S5

I boiled one, then threw it in the freezer, wrapped my finger in hockey tape, and voila!...

Not as elegant, but it worked on a barrle my brother said had been stuck for 'months' and would have to be sent back to SLY to fix. :P

Not really,

Maybe if the tool was cheap enough but considering how many people have inserts and how relativly little people complain about the issue, coupled with the multitude of fixes there are...

spray with liquid wrench

wait

it falls out

ninja edit:

once I couldn't get a valve out of a sheridan - sprayed some liquid wrench and stood the marker upright and started working on something else... heard a 'boinggggg...' and it had come loose and shot out the top. That stuff IS magic.
