Sorry I didn't catch this thread sooner.
I paid for my pre-reg weeks ago and am very much looking forward to the event.

My 17 year old son will be playing with me on the Devil Dogs team. I know a few MCB members prefer not to play on that side but I have other local friendships to keep in mind as well.

Would it be too confusing if I were to wear my MCB jersey as well?

I say wear the jersey.

I, too, will be on the Devil Dogs team due to my local friendships. See ya there!

The game was a bit lopsided in favour of the Red team.
Fortunately, game play was lots of fun and I didn't encounter any questionable incidents. Even managed to have a shoot-out with Falcon16 at one point.

I will say that the pump and pistol game on Friday night was the highlight for me. The rest of the game was still fun and I'm glad I was there for all three days.

I'm curious which video bits make you state that you're glad you didn't go. The folks at Badlands put together a decent video here. Those are my girls at the center of the flash mob starting around the 11 minute mark of the video.

Mike Phillips video condoning dead man walking because of spawn camping was enlightening on the condition of human ethics. Bam used my university today.

I like his videos, but reading the rationalization of what good sportsmanship is in paintball and how that applies to a tactic, that, to me is clearly not within the intent and spirit of the game - I was just speechless.

The lesson I learned from this is that anyone who is walking off the field should be shot to make sure they arent in play...Isnt this in itself a massive safety issue? Why encourage shooting players that should be not in play?

Also, from the description of what good sportsmanship is, I should encourage others to use tactics which are questionable at best? Isn't this going to turn into a vicious cycle? End result - 'hey man, beautiful wipe last game"

And finally, instructing others and explaining to them on how to participate in a questionable tactic... yikes.

And most importantly, posting it for the whole paintball community to see? Not sure what the intent was here. Im sure he had some good footage of the event, why not post that? Posting this video will only (a)encourage others to do this or (b)generate others to disagree.

he may be correct that it is "legal" in scenario paintball. All i know, is that I wouldnt appreciate it, and I dont think many of the players I play with would...
