it was a good time...

Alright so I finally got to play with a DRV! Here are some of my thoughts!

Once I learned the Do's and Don'ts it wasn't as finicky as some make it out to be. Basically I found/was told that (1)don't use the spring feed as it can jam, (2)cock the hammer relatively forcefully, and (3)never air up with the hammer down.

it took me a few 12 grams to get a feel for these steps. Once I got out on the field, I had no issues. Something interesting is that if the hammer is down and you fling the marker, you can get the valve to open ( i think). Surprised me the first time.

The one thing that stands out is that it can be somewhat unweidly. Cocking the hammer takes some force which causes the whole gun to move and throw you off target.

The other thing to notice is the weight distribution which was another unique feeling.

The grips felt REALLY nice. The all around quality was great.

Looking at it, you can't help but be amazed with some of the clever ideas. The cylinder is really clever imo.

In terms of cool factor, it is off the charts. Plinking with this thing is an amazing experience.

Upgrades that would be way cool - (1) Wood grips, (2)Nickel plated body/aluminum cylinders, grinding of hammer to smooth it out, sights.

I really, REALLY want this gun to be out at the stock class classic. That is where this will really shine!
