It's worth the in depth research. Not worth handing out.

Sniperfins
The safety paintball was. 62 and football shaped.

Good luck!

The larger caliber of the two safety rounds actually made it to field demonstrations but, rumor has it, they just didn't perform all too well, I'm not sure why but, I suspect that since they had gelatin shells they might not have had a good enough rifling system to drip them without cracking/tearing them. That, and/or, the increase in sectional density wasn't enough to make a big enough dent. Now that I think about it, the ellipsoidal tail may have allowed for vortex shedding as well.

I remember drooling over that safety paintball ad in action pursuit games long long ago... FS filled a place in my heart...

How the hell are they gonna make that in .68 without the weight skyrocketing?

Very cool. I would be more than excited to test them in our SR1.

Yep just like Bill said, we are just waiting for the projectiles to catch up with the guns. That thing is very exciting indeed.

I don't think the expanding fin version is intended for PB use, but the curved-fin round may be an alternative to FS. Then the questions come down to performance, and price. Well, and if it will ever actually be released. Who the heck is MacyWorks anyway? This is the first I've ever heard of them.

Macy works is, for lack of a better term, the think tank, for Omar Macy, the brains behind the good changes at RAP4.
