I've started an MR5 to Hammerhead adaptor. Trying to bore out an almost 2.5" long, .940 diameter piece of aluminum might be just too much for my tiny lathe. I have some delrin that I can use too if I have to, but I'd rather use aluminum.

So speaking of hammerhead barrels and fins.....
Techt make an Autococker to hammerhead adapter to use with the ifit system.
Does any one see any benefit to using this vs the hammerhead fins? If one already has the ifit they won't need the hammerhead fins.
Little bit longer? Shorter? Before rifling? Better fit?

Thoughts?

And even the 20 in hh uses fins correct?
Anyone got a close up picture of this?

Same issue as using the fins. Just swapping one for the other

Guess my first generation Hammerhead 14" ac threaded barrel that has no fin is now worth a small fortune. Or it is a very good excuse to buy a Dam.

I read that they have a new bolt design that fixes the low velocity/leak issue. It seems to be the closest thing to what I need for my play style. The sar12 is awesome but I'm not a sniper. The hammer 7 and mr5 have a bunch of troubles themselves. And I have a bad taste in my mouth from Tiberius with the persistent issues I have with them.

True enough everyone has their own issues. However is rather pay 130 for a gun with issues vs 1300 for a gun that also has issues
