did you know that clay pigeons are toxic to pigs.

I guess that's why they don't shoot trap or skeet.

Lol. Back on topic, I get what you mean. It's definitely a standard now as far as paintball rounds are concerned. Gelatin will eventually phase out if other means are proven more cost effective and show they're worth to the player.

The tib fsr has set the bar for precision paintballs as of late and it seems more companies are interested in controlling that platform by making an appropriate barrel. Scarab arms is challenging the design. We'll see how this battle plays out.

Please no legal battles...I just wanna play paintball.

As I understand, the investors got impatient and found other uses for the equipment and fired the guy (Paul Ciesiun) who came up with the idea. So yeah...money is what it boils down to.

I would love to see some further advancements in shell materials and design... but I doubt we're going to see a mainsteam, bulk departure from gelatin-based paint shell for quite a while still... and I'm fine with that. Everything about paint has improved drastically since I started playing (except the shrinking bore size... that is a bit annoying), I look forward to further improvement in the years to come.

Indeed, many manufacturers have forgotten what .68 means.
