I am wondering if you are building s feed tube for fs round going side to side what would a good inner diameter be. Want them to move but not to much that they try to flip around.

Does it have to be round?

A square tube holds them very well.

Hey Fubarius, how has that spring feed worked out for you? Save for a few minor differences, I came up with the same idea and before I make mine I'd like to hear your impressions. Does it feed reliably? Any headaches you found making it? What kind of marker did you mount it on?
