Lapco fsr or hammer head

After talking to carmatech they are 1 not selling the sar12 barrel buy it self and 2 it didn't work well with high pressure guns. I am doing a automag based far rifle so was looking for feedback on the 2 barrels in the title or other suggestions

Hammerheads are all .688 except one model that is .684.

Lapco males the .683 and .686 ID barrels.

LAPCO's Rifled Barrels are .683. they do make "First Strike Ready" barrels for the T8/9 and .1s in .690 and .686 but those aren't rifled. I heard rumor that LAPCO was making a larger, rifled bore but, that was several months ago, and I can't find any evidence of them being sold.

As for Hammerhead, all of their barrel 'fronts' (the barrels that use 'shark fins') are all .688 (aside from the 'shark fin'). The Battle Stixx .684 is meant specifically for small caliber round paint.

Their 'one-piece' barrels are all .688.

So what's with the talk here of a Hammerhead .686? Is it a "want" by you guys; or are you all talking about the current .688 barrel with a .686 fin?

I ask, as I just purchased a Hammerhead and a .688 (I believe) fin for my Hammer 7. Just wondering if I made a mistake.
