Very nice setup Matt! Were you on red team for Supergame?

Please put me down on your interested list. Preferably I would like to just buy a couple of dials and do the rest of the machine work myself. However I'm not opposed to buying the whole works if that is how it shakes out.

I doubt we'd be able to get 50 people to do a run.

I was on blue. Sunday morning we encountered somebody who was dead on accurate sniping us with first strikes from swamp. We were in stix in the trees just off the road where the road makes a bend. There were some pretty amazing shots, I'm now wondering if that could have been you?

I was around that area all day Sunday. I did a lot of sniping from the hillside above the swamp and sneaking around the backside of the swamp to above sticks by the road so it could very well have been.

I'll add you on Casper!

Does anyone know what IP the manufacturer has on the product? I did a search and only found patents for the reference tapes they use. The mechanism itself (a spiral cam) is in the public domain.

And if I'm understanding the OP, you just made some more room for the track and expanded the diameter of the spiral right? Seems silly that HHA would limit adjustment like that, but I guess arrows and bolts dont need all that much compensation

If they only need a small amount of adjustment they have better resolution on the wheel for the adjustment they need.
Now we need to patent the new wheel and sell it back to them so they can market their product to paintball.

We are lucky to still be talking about paintball.

Did MCB get hacked? Whats with this Chad Thompson nonsense?

Also, I just did a patent search for every term I could think of, and there are boatloads of optics adjustment patents involving cams, but none that specifically claim the cam. Its always used in some turret or focal adjusting assembly. This one might be fair game for the community.
