Glow in the dark First Strike

Idle hands make me do things...

I found some self-adhesive pads at Canadian Tire, I guess they are supposed to go on cabinet doors

I also found some child-safe glow paint

Then I stuck a pad inside a FS round, and put a dab of glow paint on the pad and let it dry

I tried this, but with a little piece of a cotton ball, superglue, and glowsticks. I found that if there was much of the cotton ball in there, it would fall off when shot, but if you pull the excess cotton off after the glue dries, it works well.

That works too, but the self adhesive pads are, well, self adhesive and faster and more convenient.

Nice. I've been wanting to do something like this as well because it's kind of hard to trace the shots sometimes. Was thinking about making the backs fluorescent orange or something, but the glow in the dark is potentially useful for obvious reasons as well.

I test-shot a bunch of my glow-in-the-dark FS rounds last night.

They fly just as straight as non modded FS rounds.

What's even better is that from my point of view, the glow is just as bright as a regular glow-ball.
