If you do swim, you HAVE to stretch before you swim. I swam nonstop from middle-high school, and by my junior and senior years of high school I had completely toasted my shoulders because I had not properly warmed up. That said, swimming certainly helped out, I lost 30 pounds in two months with a diet shift and lots of swimming a couple years ago, so as long as you're smart about it, it's the best thing out there.

dont drink anything sugary, cut down as much as possible on fat and carbs(thought u can eat carbs in the morning for energy) dont eat less then 2 hours before going to sleep

That's cool...I'll look into it. There is an Olympic size pool about 15 miles from my house.
