Naw just shake out type warm ups. I do HIIT and it doesn't advocate stretching

I stretch AFTER deadlifts, never before though. On another note, toward the end of my cut I had progressed to 15 reps on the deadlift, now that I've been bulking for 3 week I can only pull 12 reps.

that's crazy. I just stretched my hamstrings and I felt more limber. I was at home and bored so I did some lifting in my very basic home gym.

There are some dudes at my gym who stretch for a solid 30 mins before they do their three mediocre exercises every day. It's kind of weird.

I notice that when I do static stretching in my legs/hips, I lose a lot of power squatting and cleaning. Deadlifts too, but I'm starting to phase deadlifts out of my routine.

I'm going to try warming up with the foam roller today. Lately I've been stretching my upper body with the barbell, a short upper body routine I stole from a Chinese oly lifting video. But it doesn't really open anything up for benching or even pulling.
