Tried Reverse grip bench press today, it's nice not have to worry about keeping my elbows from flaring out like with close grip bench.

Drove to the gym this morning and then realized I had forgotten my drink, so I had to make a second trip.

DB shoulder press went much better this week.

Only gained one re one incline DB bench today, which is depressing considering it is way less then I was able to do earlier this year. But I guess progress is progress.

Whenever I get down about gym stuff like this (usually due to injury) I remind myself the golden rule about weight lifting - focus on enjoying the journey and not so much on the destination!

Did 3x5 bench, 3x5 weighted chins, and 5x3 snatch grip high pulls. Managed 5,5,4 on bench at 195lbs, every SGHP rep at 180lbs, and 5, 4, 3 on 30lb weighted chins. Up to 154lbs this morning, gained about a half pound since weighing myself a week ago.

Good advice, easy to get caught up and forget.

I've never been able to make any progress with chin ups. Weighted dips on the other hand work great for me, but for some reason pullups/chinups always stall out after a couple weeks. My upper back has always been my weakest part too.

I worked my way up just doing unweighted pullups to 10 pullups and 13 chins. Then it stayed there for a year and wouldn't budge. I've always had a weak upper back thanks to neglecting my rows so about a month ago I decided to start doing my chins weighted, add rows, and add SGHPs. I'm already seeing a noticeable difference in my traps thanks to the pulls. Hopefully I can catch my upper back up to the level of strength my lower back has.

I will be deloading the chins back down to bodyweight and work the weight up again. We'll see if I stall out at 25 again.

I've been stuck a 3x8 on BW pullups for a well over a year, my pulldowns and rows have increased but pullups never budge. Even after my back has become stronger, I still suck to at them.
