Didn't get the cruise control recall done I expect. Fire started in the driver's rear corner of the engine compartment?

That recall is pretty crazy, I didn't know brake fluid was that flammable before this.

It also affected a ton of vehicles for a few years. My '01 F150 was also affected as well as my step sisters slightly newer explorer.

I have seen a couple that burned that the insurance companies deemed were due to failure to have that recall done. I am curious how those turned out between the insured and the insurer. Though you are right, it seemed like a "yeh right" recall.
