Merle I think is in an awkward position now. He did those things to Glenn and Maggie under the presumption that he was protected by the Governor but now he's been cut lose and I don't think the Ricks group aside from his own brother want him back either. At least now we know why the prison's tunnels are crawling with walkers. There's a huge hole in the wall.

Yeah you noticed that too....not just a hole in the fence but the back of the building is blown out...what the heck did that?!

Possibly a plane crash? I would think that they would do a sweep of the perimeter.

They knew there was a hole. When dead black guy and possible pedo came back from thier block, they said there was a breach in the wall and the yard was full of walkers.

Could have been something mechanical that went nutso - laundry etc
