I do not think they had to kill of Lori. In my opinion there is no dominant female figure. There leaves a space for someone to step up.

but why does there need to have a dominant female figure? i'd be perfectly happy to have 1 single dominant either-gender figure, who happens to be rick at the moment. if rick dies i'm perfectly fine with a competent female replacement if one exists. not lori though, she's not competent in the standards of either gender... she's just not a competent person period.

Lori can't lead a group. Half of the dialogue involving Lori should have been "where's Carl".

Yea you guys should check out the graphic novel....andrea is a completly different char in it....I actually like her in the comic. On the show not so much...they made her into an idiot.

Michonne is awsome IMO.

Lori had to die not only on the show but twice over in the comic.....
