I do tend to ruin movies and such for myself by questioning why..how...can that be done?

In The Walking Dead, I keep asking myself, why is there no food?

Rick was in a coma for, what, 2 days after the hospital massacre?
The flowers Shane brought want you to think that it was longer but that couldn't be.
He only met i group of living people till he got to Atlanta and very few after.

Where did all the food go?
Let alone the 270 million firearms in the US.
He should have been tripping over stuff.

No one knows the time line of how long anything took or was going on.. we dont know if he was in a coma for days, weeks or months..

but given the the deterioration of everything around them and the decomp of bodies it would be safe to think its been a fair amount of time.. you gotta imagine just the break they take between seasons is meant to represent what, almost six months?

food and weapons disappear due to scavengers, ricks group was doing it,govs group was doing it ect.. when a group a scavengers come across any amount of food or weapons be it a small stash or a huge stock pile theyre not going to leave anything behind (intentionally), theyre going to take as much as they possibly can and if needed come back for what they couldnt get the first run..

look at the stockpile Morgan had...

But on a another note..

Quote:
The key thing in Season 4 of The Walking Dead is that The Governor is not going to be the primary threat. The show runners feel that the show has lost its focus and the zombies are now so common place they are not seen as a threat. Season 1 was all about escaping the undead, Season 2 was all about Shane and Season 3 was all about the Governor. Season 4 will be all about the Zombies and the serious threat that they do pose as they once again move to the position of primary villain in The Walking Dead.

In real life, he would have been dead within 4 days without someone replacing his IV bag and providing fluids.
In real life, that is.

Not much of the Walking Dead has followed the rules of "Real Life".
Just read this thread. We're their biggest critics.
I'm still hopelessly hooked on the zombie "Soap Opera", and can't wait until October.........

Yeah, I think he's run his course for a while.
Isn't he in contention for the next Doctor Who anyway?

he's also confirmed to be a regular of next season's cast.

this means either kirkman in that article above was doing damage control trying to retain a fan base from leaving after all this andrea drama that NOBODY ASKED FOR, or they changed their mind and governor isn't as prevalent anymore, which i doubt since there's bound to be contracts and stuff with actors.

so i'm going to go with not trusting that article, and bracing for disappointment come october.
