Small hatchet? Good luck. That puts your arm in biting distance, and you don't have ENOUGH heft in order to get a clean slide through a neck. Plus not enough leverage to easily remove from an imbedded skull. Hatchet is a good survival tool for camp, but not ideal for Zed combat.

fortunately I am built like a brick outhsouse. I also cut it down quite some. I think I could give a decent accounting of myself with it against a Zombie hoarde... Still need a good spear though!

I would think the same. A zed would latch onto the nearest flesh and pull it to their mouths. Sooo start handing Ice picks covered in meat out to Zombies?

Well, it would be easier to remove your own limb post bite with a hatchet than with an axe.

Mmmmm... meaty pops...

Looks like a nice axe Mar. You got plenty of space to carve tally marks into the helve. I disagree with PistolRogue though, splitting skulls would be hard work, your arms are going to get tired. Mar looks like he'd be standing atop a pile of zombies slit and stacked like cordwood, and still looking for more. Plus the extra foot or two of reach would be nice too.

OK, coupla good kills tonight! Glenn gets one with a shelf/machete combination for bonus points!
Andrea finally learns how to shoot, and what to shoot at (head-shots only when dealing with the un-dead) and gets a piece if Shane. Shane gets another notch on his schlong. (he's gonna have that bad boy BRONZED!)

It's a full-on zombie soap-opera now!

Laurie confesses to Rick (sorta) her infidelity, but not yet with whom.....
Mid-season "finale" next week (whatever the heck that is!)

I thought it was mentioned earlier in the thread?

They're only showing half the episodes now. The other half... I forget exact date. Anywhere from February to Summer, have heard different reports thru months. I'll Google.

Says February 12th it continues.

Shootist. Lori says with whom, and why.

And it's nice to see that a slow swing of a random store shelf can pretty much decapitate a human head. Now I know. And that's half the battle. Guess having a barn full of Zombies kinda kills the nose's senses to that particular odor when in a confined space.

I was sorta taken aback when I had to explain to Evil "Nut-Shooting" Sarah about abortion, and why Andrea was touching Shane's crotch. I wish they'd get back to the zombie whacking, day to day survival and the other important things most people in this situation would be doing instead of trying to make fresh zombie food............................

Pretty good episode IMO, definitely better than last week.

Did anyone else think Maggie's flip out on Lori seemed completely uncalled for? I mean she volunteered to go with Glen into zombie territory, what the hell did she expect??
