Heck, I'm in northern saskatchewan, it's 100k dirt road south to the nearest other small community. I'd like to think I as well as many others could survive it.

BUT I'm enjoying the show, because I know that's not the point of it, it's about the people and them surviving together. And of course they can't follow the comic, first of all how could anyone enjoy knowing EXACTLY what comes next?
Some group(s) did survive, Rick spotted a helicopter back in Season 1.

I suppose that will all come together in some future season. I haven't read any of the comics so it's all new to me, regardless how the show deviates from the original. I'm enjoying it tremendously, though.

I've read most of the comics. Don't worry, there are other survivors. Or should you?

Maybe the Zombies will raid the stores for milk and eggs like all the other A-holes in Atlanta when we get "talk" of snow, let alone actual snow.

The thing is, it has deviated quite far from the comics.

Another thing in the comic, they're quite near Atlanta, and there is a TON of snow, and cold weather.

Yeah I know, I've read all the comics. I'm enjoying that I don't know exactly what's going to happen. And realistically, some elements of the comic are so wildly over the top, I don't know how you'd translate them to tv effectively, or maintain an audience. Granted the die-hards may like it, but I'm going to assume they're more likely to download the torrents instead of paying for AMC.

Does everyone else think that Hershel is jackass for letting everyone go out and risk their lives for Sophia when he knew he had her in the barn the whole time?
